This is the website of the HASC (Hallam and South Consortium) of GP Practices.

The Consortium was formed on 1st October 2008, following the merger of the old Hallam Consortium and South Sheffield Consortium groups of Practices.

Hallam and South PBC Consortium is now an organisation representing 27  practices, based broadly across the southern part of Sheffield. HASC  covers a total population of 163,000 patients.

Our aims are:

•  to work together to improve the breadth and quality of services  on offer to our patients.
• to be a commissioning body for the member practices
• to facilitate and resource GP's to expand the services that they provide for patients, and to ensure that they receive reward for these services
• to act as a forum for the education and training of its members
• to act as a GP voice for commissioning issues in relation to the statutory health organisations, eg PCT's, SHA's etc
